For my first still life ink in water shoot, it was a slow start to get the right lighting and focus length inside the tank to then insert the ink in the right place. However after experimenting I got more confident mixing colours and using the remote shutter control to take photographs while inserting the ink at the same time. It would have been easier to complete this shoot with a second pair of hands but this was not available and I wanted to learn how to do this type of shoot alone so I can be more confident in the future and not depend on someone else. I am happy with my first attempt at this photoshoot and will be using a handful of the images against portraits further down the line of this project.
